ReconstructionCONRAD offers two reconstruction modes. The pipeline mode is tailored to cone-beam reconstruction of large projection data sets. It is using projection streaming in order to keep memory constraints low. This mode is well suited to perform analytical reconstruction of real scanner data and can be performed completely GUI driven. The step-by-step mode of CONRAD was designed for teaching and for the design of new reconstruction methods. Most of it is included in the tutorial package and is executed on code level, i.e., it can only be executed using the API. We provide a standard implementation for parallel-, fan-, and cone-bean filtered back-projection with OpenCL support. |
