My research focusses on mobile pattern recognition for sports and health. From a technical perspective, I work on generic methods and algorithm for the limited resources of mobile pattern recognition systems. These findings are the basis for the development of Body Sensor Network (BSN) applications and mobile biosignal analysis. One advantage of these systems is their live feedback capability that can instantly support athletes, coaches and physicians.

My work is funded by the Bavarian Ministry for Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology and the European Fund for Regional Development in context of the miLife project.
