New PhD student
21.05.2019 - 13:43 Seung Su Yoon started working with the Pattern Recognition Lab and Siemens Healthineers from April, 2019 as PhD researcher under Prof. Andreas Maier on the topic - “Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithm development for an improved cardiac Magnetic Resonance (MR) planning”.
He completed his Masters in Medical Engineering majoring in Medical Image and Data Processing from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Erlangen, Germany and his thesis was titled “Automatic Cardiac Resting Phases Detection using Machine Learning”. His research interests lie in mathematics, physics of MRI and deep learning. His focus is going to be in the field of workflow optimisation in the MR imaging using AI. |
