On next Monday, Natasha Elizabeth Morton from ACRF Image X Institute from Sydney university will give a talk in our lab.
Titel: "Reducing imaging artefacts at the root of the cause: Respiratory Adaptive Computed Tomography (REACT)”
Time: 11:30 to 12:00 on Monday 21.01
Room: 01.134
Natasha Elizabeth Morton is undertaking a PhD in the field of Medical Physics at The University of Sydney.
She is currently working under the supervision of Prof. Paul Keall and Assoc. Prof. Ricky O'Brien at the ACRF Image X Institute. The institute focuses on motion management in Radiation Oncology and Imaging and has a number projects spaning all stages of development from research exploration to clinical implementation.
Her previous research focused on code development and 3D Tumour Control Probability (TCP) calculations for the Multi Leaf Collimator (MLC) Tracking project. Her current research is part of the Patient Connected Imaging (PCI) arm and focuses on prospectively adapting the CT machine to patient respiratory changes during the imaging process. She is working in partnership with Blacktown Hospital and Siemens Healthcare on the development and implementation of her PCI research into the clinic.
