PD Dr. rer. nat. Björn HeismannGuest at the Pattern Recognition Lab of the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-NürnbergHe has devised numerous spectral measurement algorithms and technologies for Computed Tomography.
His current research interests include ultra-short echo time sequences and optimized k-space trajectories for MRI, MRI methods and algorithms for psychiatric and degenerative neuro diseases, PET attenuation correction as well as CT dose reduction by sinogram filtering and counting detector X-ray technology.
He has been teaching medical imaging algorithms and technology at the University of Erlangen Nuremberg since 2003.
