Guest at the Pattern Recognition Lab of the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg

He has devised numerous spectral measurement algorithms and technologies for

Computed Tomography.

His current research interests include ultra-short echo time sequences and optimized

k-space trajectories for MRI, MRI methods and algorithms for psychiatric and degenerative

neuro diseases, PET attenuation correction as well as CT dose reduction by sinogram

filtering and counting detector X-ray technology.

He has been teaching medical imaging algorithms and technology at the University

of Erlangen Nuremberg since 2003.
